Curriculum and Educational Materials

Over the past few months I've started developing my own activity sheets and other things for teaching. See below for examples. The first thing I created is this cute substitute teacher form. This can be used for substitute teachers to document the events of the day in the classroom. To download this form . Click Here!
Classroom Management Tools: After much deliberation about how to manage a classroom that's not mine, I came up with this fun activity. It's a BINGO game where students must earn markers in order to win. For example, if you see a student sitting quietly doing their work without interuptions, you can give them a marker to place on their board. This will keeps students interested and will catch their attention. Once a student or students have received a BINGO, they can be rewarded! A good way to motivate students to stay on their best behavior throughout the day! This can also be motified to a teacher's regular classroom. Instead of doing it once a day like a sub would do, a teacher can implement this managment system in their classroom by allowing the students a week to earn a BINGO. Click Here!
This is one of my favorite activities! I love a good mystery and I don't know anybody who doesn't! In this activity, students act as detectives who are solving a bank robbery. The little town of Laramie Falls is shocked when a bank robbery takes place. The students must follow the clues to solve the mystery. This is a great group activity and an awesome way for students to use their critical thinking skills. Click Here! Reading Logs: Everyone loves reading logs. Here is a fun reading log for students who love the movie Frozen! It's fun and educational. What could be better than that! :)Click Here!
Below are several great activity booklets for the first days of school. The alphabet manuscript can also be used for the first few weeks of school. Enjoy! Click Here to download!
